Hello World
Thank you for celebrating this special season with us. We hope your experience among the sunflowers at Living Legacy Gardens Mornington Green was both meaningful and memorable.
Now in its 3rd year, the world’s largest sunflower is made from 3,000 individual sunflower plants arranged into one giant bloom.
We created this at Mornington Green to celebrate life. Our gardens are the world’s first botanical memorial garden where families transform ashes into living trees.
Just like this giant sunflower, each memorial tree creates thousands of seeds. Life continues through nature.
Our mission is to plant 6,000 memorial trees across the Mornington Peninsula, creating a living legacy for future generations.
Thousands of visitors have experienced the world’s largest sunflower over the past two years. See what made our 2025 event so special.
Most people spend 1.5 to 2 hours visiting the sunflower festival Melbourne at Living Legacy Garden Mornington Green, giving you time to see the giant sunflower, walk the gardens, and take photos.
