The World’s Largest Sunflower is now closed. See you in 2027

Thank you for celebrating this special season with us. We hope your experience among the sunflowers at Living Legacy Gardens Mornington Green was both meaningful and memorable.

About the Giant Sunflower

Now in its 3rd year, the world’s largest sunflower is made from 3,000 individual sunflower plants arranged into one giant bloom.

We created this at Mornington Green to celebrate life. Our gardens are the world’s first botanical memorial garden where families transform ashes into living trees.

Just like this giant sunflower, each memorial tree creates thousands of seeds. Life continues through nature.

Our mission is to plant 6,000 memorial trees across the Mornington Peninsula, creating a living legacy for future generations.
